Every New Yorker loves a good rooftop bar as a setting for tossing back cocktails with friends during the warm summer city months. But living in the wintery northeast, we wouldn’t dare sip bevies on a roof in December. Heck no. It’s 38 degrees out. That would be insane. Or would it?

As it turns out, New Yorkers are all kinds of insane. We don’t let bitter winds, icicles or blinding snow squalls hold us back from enjoying year-round rooftop drinking.
